Patrick “Pax” McCarthy has quite extensive experience coaching theatre interpreters in American Sign Language since 1985 at various Boston theatres. He also cofounded Boston Deaf Community Theatre, Show of Hands Theatre Company, and was in it various capacities as play director, lighting, and stage design. He was recently retired from teaching ASL at University of New Hampshire at Manchester’s English and Sign Language Interpreting.
