Shipwrecked, An Entertainment, written by Donald Marguiles, ran in repertory with Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night at the Plaza Theatre at the Boston Center for the Arts November 25 – December 29, 2018.
“From the shores of Ilyria to the South Pacific, Moonbox Productions takes to the sea this fall with its productions of Twelfth Night and Shipwrecked! An Entertainment. Told by a shared cast of actors and musicians and performed on alternating nights, Moonbox takes these timeless stories and explores what it means to be lost, what it means to be found, and what we all discover on our own personal voyages. The cast of both productions will invite audiences to join them in an immersive and imaginative new world where actors not only deliver Shakespeare’s and Margulies’ text, but also perform original live music and puppetry, physical storytelling, and completely live foley effects. Both Twelfth Night and Shipwrecked! An Entertainment are suitable for young audiences and anyone with an imagination.”
